Laura Michelle Properzi - Master Stylist, Owner of Spectrum Studio and Mamma Majestic Extraordinaire. Born in Barrhead, AB and raised in Slave Lake where I currently live; I find myself surrounded by a powerhouse of entrepreneurial women and men, of whom I am blessed to call my friends.

 

Having always gravitated toward the beauty/fashion industry I started my journey in the world of Aesthetics. My career began as an aesthetician and blossomed in Whitecourt, AB until at the age of 24 when I decided to branch out and earn my journeyman certificate as a hairstylist.

 

After graduating from Marvel College, I started as a junior stylist for Fresh & Company Salon, alongside some extremely talented Master Stylists. At Fresh & Co. I was given incredible educational opportunities that allowed me to expand on my talent both creatively and professionally; thereby allowing me to quickly work my way in to a Senior position within the company.

 

Four years into my career, I made the decision to return to my hometown of Slave Lake where I hope to raise my young daughter Kenzie with the same core values and small-town connections that I grew up with.

 

After following my heart and pursuing a lifelong dream of being a salon owner;  the doors were opened to Spectrum Studio. The love of this industry, consistent education and passion for my craft i plan to be a strong force in keeping Slave Lake beautiful.
